Tony Stark's Pinstripe Suit

Tony Stark's pinstripe suit from the beginning of Iron Man.

Looking through the racks of clothing from Iron Man is a fun project due to the expansive collection of pieces. Most of the clothing can be placed from memory and in some cases, there is more than one version of an outfit. That happens to be the case with the subject of this post — Tony’s pinstriped suit.

This piece is from the scene where Tony Stark demonstrates the awesome power of the Jericho missile at the beginning of the film and, as noted by production, was the  hero outfit worn by Robert Downey Jr. The collection consists of a navy blue with light blue pin-stripe suit and matching pants, ice blue button-down shirt, navy blue with light blue floral silk tie, black leather belt size 34, and blue and purple socks. The are other versions of this set including both clean and distressed outfits.

All of our costumes will be available at our Live Auction in Chicago so stay tuned for more previews!

Wow what can i say, i wish i had the money to splash out on these priceless jems especially iron man’s helmet , to think you can actually own a piece of iron man is beyond belief. i was lucky enough to watch iron man 1 in the cinema, a superb film, Mr Jon Favreau has done wonders with bringing iron to life on the big screen well done. choosing Robert Downey jr to play Tony Stark was a perfect match, i love the man, he is the dude playing the dude disguised as the dude, visually and vocally talented and a joy to watch, so looking forward to iron man 2, keep up the good work and all the best
